This will be a beginners class on Shibori, a Japanese indigo dying technique. We will be dying Furoshiki (Cotton cloth wrapping paper) into folded patterns. We will be using rit dye to practice the folding technique and not real fermented indigo, because that is more expensive, much longer, and more difficult.
