Spring Æcademy and War College 2026

This session of Æcademy will be held in the Shire of Sylvan Glen on Saturday, June 20th. For more information, visit the Spring Æcademy event page on the Æthelmearc Website.

Spring Æcademy and War College is chockful of classes never taught at an Æcademy before so I know there’s something new for anyone to learn. We have full tracks for scribal, costuming, and consumables plus two bonus tracks of dance and rattan melee in addition to everything else! We have instructors from the far reaches of the kingdom and beyond its borders, whether you’re interested in a three-hour class on needle lace or a live demonstration of acid etching and metal tooling.

We have lots of offerings in the War College, both theory and practice, as well as a Gold Chain Tournament! For rattan, there’s lots of open field to fight in and the opportunity for pickups and melees alike. We have a wide spread of rapier classes being taught, whether you’re interested in converting your skills and kit to C&T from our own Kingdom C&T Champion or learning rapier dagger binds from a special guest teacher from Atlantia! Feel like you can fill a gap in the classes being taught or opportunities offered? Let me know – we still have room for a few classes for rattan!

All class schedule details and descriptions can be found in the online Class Booklet below so check it out and make your plans for traveling to Sylvan Glen on June 20th.
