Virtual Queen’s Prize Tourney Entries

Notre Dame caught fire in April of 2019; I wrote a poem to commemorate it. A year later they rang the bell to memorialize the fire and I wrote a poem to commemorate that.

A piece of medieval Japanese furniture, made from wood using entirely hand tools similar to those that were available in period, finished in multiple polished layers of artificial lacquer, and decorated in the hira-maki-e (gold paint) style with a karkusa pattern.
