Learn the techniques of katazome, Japanese resist paste stencil dyeing. Medieval techniques will be discussed, alongside how to get started on dyeing with resist paste on your own.
Please understand this is a lecture style course, not a dye-a-long. We will watch videos and I will show off tools and methods, but the dyeing process itself takes a few days, so it cannot be fully demonstrated in one hour.
