Making 14th-century openwork shoes

In this make-and-take class you will learn how to make a pair of shoes like those worn by His Majesty Arnthor at Coronation. You will measure your feet, cut out leather for soles and uppers, design a pattern and cut it out, then assemble the shoes. Materials fee of $15 for leather and needles and thread. Class size limit is 8. [Note for admins: duration needs to be 4 hours, I believe, for best results – this could be all morning, or all afternoon, or some of each with a break for lunch.]
