The primary role of A&S officers, whether they are A&S ministers or representatives of kingdom-chartered guilds, is to facilitate and champion A&S activities within their domains. This can take many forms, but primarily these representatives organize A&S meet-ups, observe A&S happening close to them and reports these activities up the chain.

More information on the responsibilities of ministers and ideas for A&S activities can be found in the Kingdom of Æthelmearc Arts & Sciences Handbook.

Reporting

There are 4 reporting periods throughout the year. These reports are due on March 1, June 1, September 1, and December 1.

The purpose of filing reports is three fold.

  1. Reporting lets the Kingdom Minister know that your group is still active and does not require intervention.
  2. Reporting on activities and the individuals participating provides a paper trail for citing and recommending these participants for commendation and awards.
  3. Sending reports on interesting activities can also serve to promote the group you represent, as these items could be featured and commended in Kingdom and Society reports up the chain.

Reports can be filed using the A&S Report Form or by emailing ans@aethelmearc.org.

Representative Channels

A&S ministers and Guild Representatives are encouraged to participate on the following channels in order to promote A&S activities. These platforms are also used for discussion, reminding officers of incoming reporting periods, and to share the Kingdom minister’s reports.
