Now known as Lace Net Darning, Buratto was used during the Middle Ages to decorate church linens as well as household items such as table carpets, runners and bed coverings. A brief lecture, including a handout, will be followed by a hands-on class providing the student with the opportunity to learn the technique to be able to create a small motif.

Kit Fee: approximately $5 actual cost to be determined based on cost of materials.
Kit will include ground fabric (net), thread, needle, embroidery hoop and pattern.
