Bling Out Your Dead

This class will cover what has become known as the Catacomb saints. These “saints” are skeletons that were accepted as those of deceased saints and thus worthy of special veneration and decoration. We will discuss the history of these famous entities, both in terms of their origins and how they ultimately fell out of favor.
